Shanti Raghavan

Shanti Raghavan has spent over two decades building systems that enable dignity and economic independence for persons with disabilities. At EnAble India, she has helped create livelihood pathways for over 500,000 stakeholders (including persons with disabilities, their families, and employers).

Shanti believes: people come first, disability second. She focuses on removing systemic barriers rather than fixing individuals, and on making solutions so practical and usable that participation becomes easy. She is committed to making inclusion tangible, measurable and mainstream.

How Shanti supports Journey Partners

  • Designing systems that scale:  Helps partners move from isolated pilots to system-level designs that work across actors, incentives, and contexts.
  • Reframing the narrative: Helps leaders shift narratives at the system level, from fragmented problems to shared value, and from intent to action that funders, institutions, and partners can rally around.
  • Building practical systems: Helps design simple and usable tools, processes, and platforms grounded in real-world behaviour.
  • Linking purpose with economic logic: Helps identify where social outcomes and economic incentives reinforce each other.
  • Scaling through ecosystems: Advises on working effectively with government, markets, and civil society together to sustain momentum.
